Getting around Madison is easy!
Driving around Madison is one option, but parking in the city can be hard to find. No need to worry, there are many ways to get around town!
Campus Parking
Often, students with cars park near campus and then walk, bike or take a bus to classes.
For the best information on student parking at UW-Madison, please go to the University Transportation Services website.
You may also consider reviewing the Steve Brown Apartments parking by Camp Randall. They rent our parking spaces to UW students, and you don’t need to be a resident of the apartments or any of their properties.
Campus Transit
Madison is one of five platinum-level bicycle communities in the U.S. (2015). Check out BCycle memberships for shared bikes if you don’t have your own.
Additionally, Madison Metro Transit offers buses and is linked with Google Maps to make finding a route easier than ever! WISLI students are eligible to pick up a free bus pass. Information abut where to pick up a pass can be found here.
