NORDsummer is a special eight-week intensive language program for people interested in learning Scandinavian languages. NORD allows students from all around the world to jump-start their Scandinavian language studies and have access to languages that are not commonly available elsewhere. During summer 2024, NORD will be offering First and Second Semester Swedish and Danish! NORDsummer is now a part of many other summer intensive language institutes in the Wisconsin intensive Summer Language Institutes (WISLI), increasing the reach and capacity for instruction and providing additional support for student learners. Collaborating with WISLI offers competitive pricing for out-of-state residents, extra-curricular cultural programming, and pedagogy training and support for NORD instructors.
