PD WORKSHOP: Lead With Languages: Communicating Transferable and Technical Skills

@ 3:00 pm - 4:15 pm

Description

In this interactive virtual workshop, you will explore the types of skills language learners develop – both the transferable and the technical – and learn strategies for communicating these skills throughout the job/internship application process. At the end of this workshop, you will be able to:

  • identify and articulate transferable skills gained through language study, and how these skills relate to U.S. employers’ demands;
  • and communicate your language skills in descriptive, concrete language, developing content you can apply to your resumes, cover letters, and the job search process.

Registration

A registration link will be emailed to WISLI students via the weekly events newsletter.
