SE Asian Area Studies Professors and Language Instructors, SE Asian Program Administrators and Coordinators — please join us on Tuesday, Dec 2 to learn about a fully funded intensive language and cultural immersion program!

The Southeast Asian Flagship Languages Initiative (SEAFLI) is a fully funded language and cultural immersion program that offers students a pathway to mastering Indonesian, Thai, or Vietnamese at a professional level. It is open to matriculated U.S. undergraduate and graduate students in any field.

SEAFLI is sponsored by the Defense Language and National Security Education Office (DLNSEO), through U.S. Department of Defense, through the Boren Awards. As a condition of the award, Boren Scholars and Fellows commit to working in the federal government for at least one year after graduation and have access to special hiring authorities.
