The 2025-2026 Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad (DDRA) program is OPEN and accepting applications!!

The website has been updated for the current application cycle.
The Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad (DDRA) program funds doctoral candidates to conduct research abroad for periods of 6 to 12 months. Applicants must be US citizens, nationals, or permanent residents and proficient in the foreign language/s to be used in their research. The grant does not fund research whose primary focus is on/in Western European countries though it does allow for & fund research visits to western European countries that are part of a larger project focused elsewhere.
