The Center for South Asia is pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications for our new Language Pathways Program: International Business and Sustainable Development in India. Supported by a two-year Undergraduate International Studies and Foreign Language (UISFL) grant from the Department of Education, this program will support language instruction and provide undergraduate scholarships for language and area studies training and study abroad.
The Language Pathways Program will fund two years of undergraduate study in a South Asian language at UW-Madison, followed by participation on one of three themed study abroad programs in India, with the first ever option to specialist in an International Business track. Full details on program eligibility and program requirements are available here. No previous coursework in South Asian studies or languages is required.
Program benefits include:
- Full scholarship for summer 2025 language program tuition ($5,000)
- $15,000 scholarship for 2025-26 academic year
- $3,000 study abroad scholarship for summer or fall/winter 2026 program
Applications are due Friday, December 6, 2024.
